A verification costs one fixed price per service, from $0.06, and keeps the number for 20 minutes. If the app sends nothing, the full price comes back to your credit automatically. For accounts that ask again, a 1 year rental keeps the same number, from $35.28.
Why non-VoIP
A non-VoIP number is a phone number from a mobile carrier on a physical SIM. Before sending a code, apps such as WhatsApp, Google, Discord and OpenAI look up the number and see whether it is a mobile line or a VoIP line from an internet calling service.
VoIP numbers can be created by the thousand for almost nothing, so they are the first ones blocked at signup. The usual result is a message like “this number cannot be used for verification”, or a code that never arrives. Every SNSPhone number is a US mobile number, so it is checked like any other phone in the United States.

The short answers. The FAQ page has every question about numbers, verifications, rentals and credit.
A non-VoIP number is a phone number that belongs to a real mobile carrier and runs on a physical SIM, the same kind of number a regular phone has. VoIP numbers come from internet calling services, and many apps can see that and refuse them. Every SNSPhone number is a US non-VoIP mobile number.
All numbers are United States mobile numbers from US carriers, with real US area codes. They are not VoIP, landline or app numbers, so services that turn away virtual numbers accept them like any other phone.
Apps look up the line type of a number before they send a code. VoIP numbers are cheap to create in bulk, so services such as WhatsApp, Google, Discord and OpenAI block them to stop fake accounts. A carrier mobile number passes that check.
112 US services are listed, from WhatsApp, Telegram and Google to Uber, DoorDash, Amazon and Discord. Use a number to sign up, to keep your own number private and to stop codes and spam from reaching your personal phone.
Yes. The numbers are in the United States, but you read the codes on our website from anywhere. Some services also check where you connect from, so their own rules can still apply to your account.
Yes. A REST API with JSON for services, prices, verifications and rentals, and the common SMS activation format (getNumber, getStatus, setStatus). Create a key in the console and see the API docs page.
No. Your account is one access token that your browser makes when you sign up. Save it: it is the only way to sign in, and it cannot be recovered if you lose it.
Pick a service, and a US number shows at once. Enter it in the app, ask for the SMS code and read it in your console. Each verification has a 20 minute window.
Usually within a minute after the service sends it. The console refreshes by itself, so keep the page open while you finish the signup.
If no SMS arrives in 20 minutes, the verification closes and the full price returns to your credit by itself. You can also cancel earlier for a full refund as long as no code has arrived.
