When a one-time verification is the right choice
A verification is built for a single moment: the phone step of a signup, a check on a new device, or a one-off confirmation. The number is yours for 20 minutes, every SMS the service sends in that time shows in your console, and the price is fixed before you buy.
- New accounts. Open a WhatsApp, Discord, Google or OpenAI account without giving out your own number.
- Second accounts. Keep a work, selling or testing account apart from your personal one.

When to choose a rental instead
If the account will ask for a code again in a few weeks, for example a Telegram login on a new phone or a Google Voice link, a verification number will no longer be yours. Use a 1 year rental for those services, or add your own email and an authenticator app to the account before the window ends.

What is an SMS verification number?
It is a phone number you use once to receive the SMS code a service sends when you sign up or sign in. On SNSPhone it is a US non-VoIP number, yours for a 20 minute window.
How long do I have to receive the code?
20 minutes from the moment the number is shown. Most codes arrive within a minute after the service sends them.
Can I get two codes on the same number?
Yes. After the first code, press Another code and ask the service again. The second SMS reaches the same number at no extra cost while the window is open.
What happens to my money if no code arrives?
The verification closes when the window ends and the full price goes back to your credit by itself. You can also cancel earlier while no code has arrived.
How many verifications can I run at once?
Up to 20 open verifications per account. The API allows 300 requests per minute per key for larger jobs.
Can the number receive phone calls?
No. Numbers receive SMS only, so choose the text message option when the service offers a call or a text.
